About a year ago, we opened our doors to manufacture other designers and companies swimwear and active wear and the response has been wonderful. We have grown very fast with little effort and I see it continuing that way. We had been purchasing fabric from another supplier in Zhejiang for my manufacturing facility in the Philippines. However, they have not replied to my latest requests and I am under pressure from my clients to source fabric for them, as I promised.
We have reached a point with my company where it just doesn’t make sense for my clients to purchase their fabric from a US supplier. Their choices are limited and to ship by air is making their costs too high at the end.
I need to connect with a supplier and come to an agreement right now, so that I can start sourcing all of my clients fabric.
I would like to request your current prices (+/-) for 4-Way Stretch, 80/20 Nylon/Spandex in the 180-220gms range.
I would also like to ask if you could be flexible with MOQ’s while I transfer all of my clients to buying their fabric from me, which I will source from you.
Collectively, its several 1000 yards per month, right now, just from a few of my active clients. However, I have nearly a dozen clients in pre-production and we are about to launch a major marketing campaign that should increase our production output about 400% and our fabric demands would increase along with that.
We provide nearly every service needed to our clients, before, during and after production, however, the sourcing of fabric and the expense of shipping from the US is the only obstacle that remains for my company at this point.
